What are some principals within the Hindu practice?
Our Experience
The LOTUS ShrineThe LOTUS Shrine represents Hinduism's acceptance of all faiths. LOTUS stands for Light of Truth Universal Shrine, and the shape of the dome symbolizes enlightenment-- the blooming of the lotus after growing through muddy water. The design and inspiration of the Shrine was from Swami Satchidananda, a Hindu who supported all religions. The motto of the Shrine is "Truth is One, Paths are Many."
